My daughter Alana and her partner Clayton recently completed construction of a spacious single story home on the edge of a field with views of the Shropshire Hills. As a house warming present I spent a few days during May 2015 in Bishops Castle painting views from the house. The family selected two landscapes which are framed and hanging on the kitchen wall. One view, past Clayton’s construction vehicles, looks towards the field hut of grandaughter Tallulah and the school where Alana teaches. The other view shows the spoil mound from site construction used for mountain bike sessions by grandson Jake.
